By downloading, installing, or using Vokab ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Vokab is a vocabulary learning application that helps users learn and practice vocabulary through flashcards, spaced repetition, and AI-powered import features. The App is available on Android and iOS platforms.

3. Use of the App

3.1 Eligibility

Vokab is an educational app and does not have an age limit. The App is designed to help users of all ages learn and practice vocabulary.

3.2 User Accounts

You may use Vokab without creating an account. If you choose to create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3.3 Acceptable Use

You agree to use Vokab only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the App in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its related systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers connected to the App
  • Use the App to transmit any malicious code or harmful content
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App

3.4 Subscriptions

If you choose to purchase a subscription, payment will be charged to your Apple account or Google Play account, and your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. Auto-renewal may be turned off at any time by going to your settings in the App Store or Google Play Store after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable.

4. Intellectual Property

Vokab is open source software licensed under applicable open source licenses. The App's source code is available on GitHub. All trademarks, service marks, and trade names are the property of their respective owners.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of any vocabulary lists, notes, or other content you create or import into Vokab ("User Content"). By using the App, you grant us a license to store and process your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the App's services to you.

Your use of Vokab is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.
