This page explains how you can request the deletion of your Lexicon account and all associated data.

How to Delete Your Account

Option 1: From Within the App

  1. Open the Lexicon app
  2. Go to Profile
  3. Tap the three-dot menu (⋮)
  4. Select Delete Account
  5. Confirm the deletion when prompted

Option 2: Via Email Request

If you are unable to delete your account from within the app, you can send a deletion request via email:

  1. Send an email to info@alirezaiyan.com
  2. Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
  3. Include the email address associated with your Lexicon account
  4. We will process your request within 7 business days

What Data Is Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:

  • Account Information: Your email address and authentication credentials
  • Vocabulary Data: All words, definitions, notes, and learning progress stored in the cloud
  • Usage Data: Your learning history and app usage statistics
  • Preferences: Any settings or preferences associated with your account

What Data Is Retained

No data is retained after account deletion. All your data will be permanently removed from our servers.

Note: Data stored locally on your device is not automatically removed when your cloud account is deleted. You can remove this by uninstalling the app.

Data Deletion Without Account Deletion

If you would like to delete specific data without removing your entire account, you can:

  • Delete individual vocabulary items or collections from within the app
  • Clear your learning progress from the app settings
  • Contact us at info@alirezaiyan.com for selective data deletion requests

Important Notes

  • Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.
  • If you have an active subscription, deleting your account does not automatically cancel it. Please cancel your subscription through your app store (Google Play or Apple App Store) before deleting your account.
  • After deletion, you may create a new account using the same email address, but your previous data will not be restored.
