Tiara Studio: Lenz IPTV
Rebuilding the Android foundations of Lenz, Tiara Studio's IPTV app, and helping set up hiring.
Tiara Studio built lifestyle and commerce apps, with Lenz, an IPTV streaming app, as its flagship. I joined as an Android Developer to modernize the Android codebase and help the studio grow its Android team.
What I worked on
- Introduced Clean Architecture and a single-activity design, which improved code organization and testability and made new features quicker to add.
- Designed the Android interview process, so candidates knew what to expect and the team judged everyone the same way.
- Cleaned up the main UI flows following Material guidelines.
Result
The studio shipped faster, new engineers got up to speed quicker, and apps that used to break easily became maintainable. You can get Lenz on Google Play.
