Commerce Integrations & Legacy Revamps

My first years as an Android developer, from 2015 to 2018, were at Eghamat24 (hotel booking), Frotel (e-commerce) and Mr2App (white-label apps). Many users were on slow or unreliable networks, so the apps had to stay usable when the connection didn't.

What I worked on

• Integrated several payment gateways and booking providers, and made sure a dropped connection didn't leave a payment half-done.
• Added caching and offline support, so people could keep browsing and booking without waiting on the server.
• Profiled and sped up the slow parts: long lists, image loading, and sync.

What I took from it

I learned how to work through old codebases, get things done with backend teams on short deadlines, and build apps people trust when the infrastructure underneath isn't reliable. I still use those lessons today.
